Best Buddies

If anyone could bring joy to a funeral, I believe it would be Spencer. My Grandpa Amonette passed away in April, and though it was a solomn occasion, it was really nice to see so many family members. Spencer and Cole (my cousin Heather's baby) had met only once before, when Cole was 4 months old and Spencer about 15 months old, and yet they greeted each other like long lost friends. It was really delightful to watch them interact and actually play together although they are so young (10 months and 21 months at the time). They provided a welcome respite to the grieving atmosphere, and as they grow, we'll have fun stories to tell about their young friendship.
